"During my 3 months long trip in Australia, I really wanted to try this place out and doing the food challenge here!! Sadly I didn't manage to finish in 13 min but I still are all of the 2.5 kg food because it was sooooo good!!! The staff and especially the manager were so heartwarming and friendly!! I really enjoyed my evening there and if I am ever back in Sydney, I will definitely go back there! Besides the staff being super friendly, the food was amazing aswell! Even after 2.5 kg of food, I still enjoyed some fresh springrolls that were also amazing! The beef, broth, noodles and veggies were all super delicious, fresh and made with love! Thanks to everyone at Huong Xua for the amazing evening and incredible food!!!"

"A reliable spot for a quick, clean, and affordable Northern Vietnamese meal. Their specialty snails and spring rolls are top tier, and the chicken based soups are a definite highlight. While the portions have shrunk over the past year and the Pho is just "okay," it’s still a satisfying feed. One minor letdown: the Maryland chicken is often served cold with jelly forming, it would be much better if it were warmed up. Overall, still a solid choice for a fast, decent soup."

"We decided to go for a drive in to Canley Heights having never been here before as we had heard that there was some pretty decent places to eat on the strip. Having no prior knowledge of where we were going to eat we parked the car down one end of the street and started walking. It was about 11:30 on a Sunday morning and things were beginning to get busy in some of the restaurants so we picked the busiest restaurant on the street and grabbed ourselves one of the last tables available. Tracking down our waiter we asked for some menus and water and got into picking what we were going to eat. The menu is huge so you might need a little time if it's your first visit. The food came out fast and like normal we completely and utterly over ordered as the portions are huge. The flavours hear a pretty good and the staff a pretty helpful and all in all we had a fantastic lunch. Prices are also great with our lunch coming to just under $18 per head and we were absolutely full when we left. This is cheap and cheerful at it's best."

"Becareful when stepping in and out. Its steps. Not an accessible entrance. Great tasting, very strange food just like we ordered " egg noodle with chicken and innards " and also "crab soup crab cake with noodle and sea snail. And they have specials too. So lookout for the specials. Today we get the Spring roll for $6. Clean toilets. Staff understand English well. All good experience"

"My go to vietnamese restaurant after many years since the food challenge days. There is a lot of competition for best food in this region of sydney but overall for flavour, heat of the broth, serving portion and also the best for parking ease and service. I see people eating here from all over sydney including Camden and Dural. Warmly recommend Huong Xua for your weekly comfort Vietnamese food fix."

"It kind of feels like another Vietnamese restaurant with your pho, noodle and rice dishes but I can recommend trying goat here if you've never tried goat before. It comes with lemongrass and galangal, a great combination that makes eating this different kind of meat a familiar experience! I also enjoy the bun cha (vermicelli with grilled pork). It's a restaurant I'm happy to visit from time to time as it's bit of an all rounder."

"This has been our go to Restaurant in Canly Heights for the last few year's, And has the best Tea, Although our last few visits, the food seems to have dropped slightly, It is still some great tucker. I love the tea here But last time I couldn't drink it as the tea pot is filthy Not only does the stainless steel have old greasy finger prints all over the outside, Where the tea is poured from is grotty, When my husband was puring the tea, There was a flappy brown build up flowing in the stream of tea, I don't know how to explain it properly. Other than that We love this place, Customer service is 99% fantastic"
